Sukup Europe A/S is a family-owned manufacturer of grain bins, grain dryers, material handling equipment and pre-engineered metal buildings.

COMPANY PROFILE

Sukup Europe A/S has many years of experience in the development and assembly of grain and seed handling plants. It is one of the oldest companies in the field. The company was founded in 1955 at Klejsgaard, when the company bought the first combine and the need for grain drying and storage was a reality.

The first 60 years the company was operating under the name DanCorn, but today the company is promoted as Sukup Europe. In 2015, the Hansen family decided to sell 2/3 of the family company DanCorn to the American family-owned company and business partner, Sukup Manufacturing Co. However, the business model and agenda continue as before. The acquisition means a strong ownership which provides a strong foundation and an important security for the customers.

For many years, Sukup has been behind the production of the grain drying bins that have been sold through DanCorn. The sales are today both being done through dealers and as direct sale to end-users.

The new ownership means that the company will no longer be a costly intermediary, but instead the producer. Therefore, the customers get an even closer connection to the factory. Sukup Europe A/S is a part of the collaboration of independent Danish companies within equipment and services for pig production, Danish Pig Academy.
